The CUTEST puppy in the world sits outside. You can't miss him. This is a very cute little cafe located on college avenue. The owners are very sweet and friendly.

The interiors have an old cafe feel and they have well priced coffee too. ($2.25 for a large cup)
They use Peets coffee house blend 9/10

Note : There is a $5.00 minimum on credit cards. Otherwise they charge 40 cents extra to use the card for below $5.00 items.

I recommend this place to grab coffee on the go or to just spend a few minutes falling in love with the puppy. God bless him :)

I've hung out at College Point Cafe a couple times while my car was being worked on at Germany's Best down the block. The Cafe is a small Mom & Pop (literally) with maybe 15-20 seats including a handful on the sidewalk.

Pretty basic menu of breakfast items, sandwiches, wraps and salads with everything fresh and made with care.

Breakfast bagel sandwiches (https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/college-point-cafe-oakland?select=5zR5w1MewZsNKWDkeflPNA), for example, have an egg fried to order (https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/college-point-cafe-oakland?select=5XkrG33cHsfY3ymFWTkqqw), not nuked in the microwave.

I also have had the roasted turkey wrap which comes in a spinach tortilla with a pickle spear (https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/college-point-cafe-oakland?select=r_dNRdj6fWCaEVtqGsZklw) and is filled with fresh spinach, cucumber, tomato, and pickles with honey mustard and mayo (https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/college-point-cafe-oakland?select=D2GrnlaZpjWlQfGshAHgkQ).

Nice casual spot for breakfast or lunch, if you're in the area.

College Poinr Cafe is nearly at the corner of broadway and college. an older couple was slowing closing up the shop (closes at 4, found this out in hindsight).when i dropped in.

menu: smoothies, panninis, sammies, expresso, bagels, pastries, muffins,

      pour: peet's house blend (L1.95)
-tad harsh, strong (not surprising since it was near closing time)
      3 stars at best.
-sweet grandmotherly smile from cashier as i labored to make sure the lid covered the coffee. didn't want any misfunction.nor spills.

      drips:
-such sweet people deserve at 4 points
-panninis, smoothies get raves from reviews
-plenty of seating available, inside and out.
      -closes at 4?.

-Can I have a bagel with egg and bacon?
      +no cheese?
      -No thanks.
      +no hot sauce?
      -No thank you.

Receives Bacon Egg and Cheese Bagel with Hot Sauce 10 minutes later.

Bagel was average + bacon was burnt + unwanted items = not coming back.

I ordered the marinated chicken breast sandwich. It had a lot of mayo. Other than that, the service was good( nice cashier). Free wifi was a plus.

I work across the street, and my coworkers and I are in love with this adorable cafe.

The staff treat you like family instantly, and after your first visit you'll see why everyone who comes here are regulars. The ambiance and mood of this place is what the rest of Rockridge wishes it could be, and overall its just a friendly, genuine place.

As far as food, Im smitten with their breakfast sandwich (with hot sauce!), and for lunch, a turkey melt sandwich on dutch crunch. You'd be hard pressed to find a sandwich here that isn't fantastic.

Their smoothies are really good too, try their crazy coffee if you're a caffeine lover, and they also offer Peet's here.

They offer take-out, and you can call in orders.

This review is based on my smoothie, the cleanliness and the semifreddi* pastry offerings.

Had a blueberry raspberry, coconut and banana smoothie with milk. Icecream is also an option. Anyway, they were honest when I asked if they use fresh fruit. They told me some is fresh and some is frozen which is fine with me, that's how I make my smoothies at home.

So, while there I noticed they offer those little bundt cakes and fresh semifreddi pastry and bread for their sandwhiches.

They offer kombucha, odwalla and zico fridge. Amongst other beverages, but those are the ones which commanded my attention.

I will definitely be re visiting this place!

Wow. Working in the area and had been crazing a good smoothie since last week. They scored on the spectrum.

I used to walk to CCA from the Rockridge Bart. This is the perfect place to stop in on your morning commute. They have fresh baked breads on the counter and a cooler full of Snapple, Orangina, Odwalla, and other juices. They also serve smoothies.

I recommend getting the breakfast sandwiches, egg and cheese on a tasty piece of bread. I wish I could remember if it was a croissant or an English muffin, but it was satisfying for the right price. They offer avocado and bacon as an add-on.

I also highly recommend the spinach and mozzarella panini. Just the two ingredients listed make it sound tasty enough, but this sandwich is packed full of artichoke hearts, black olives, and red peppers, served with a quarter slice of a pickle. It's a hearty portion for a panini. It's enough to eat half there and save the other half for later in the day. With the cheese melting thoroughly through the assorted vegetables, all of the flavors blend to just the right amount of a sour, savory, creamy, vegetarian delight.

As an added bonus, the couple who operates the restaurant are very nice people. An older woman takes orders and makes fresh to order coffee, and an older gentleman makes the sandwiches, It just adds to your dining experience to know that the owners are genuine and care about their business. They have outside seating and a raised area inside where you can watch the foot traffic go by as you unwind in the morning or afternoon.

I was staying in Oakland to visit a friend, and she lives about 10 minutes from College Ave. I was on my own for breakfast, so I ventured out and this was the first place I encountered. Looked cute, so I wandered inside. Was immediately greeted by (I'm assuming) the owners - a couple - who were cutting some veggies. They recommended the breakfast special (egg, cheese, bacon, avocado on a bagel for like 4 bucks). I chose the everything bagel, no bacon, with hot sauce. I also got one of the smoothies (I wish I could remember which, but it was tropical) and a huge bottle of water. Everything was about 9 bucks - awesome. Cheap.

The breakfast bagel was DELICIOUS. Who knew something simple could be so good? The egg was cooked perfectly, with a slightly runny yolk, the avocado was fresh, and the bagel was yummy. Smoothie was good - the ice cream really makes it. Owners were ridiculously nice - I realized there was no spot for a tip on the receipt, and I didn't have any cash, and they wouldn't let me try to add money to my bill and just said "next time!". Unfortunately there won't be a next time as I don't live there, but hopefully people see this review and frequent this cute little cafe!

I walk in and its a cute little cafe and everyone there seems pretty happy until it is my turn. I ask to have a smoothie with just strawberries and bananas, pretty simple right? I mean they have one with bananas, strawberries, coconut, milk, and ice cream( which is a shake not smoothie ) so it would be easy not to include these ingredients. However the man working was a douche. I told him about my allergies and he simply would not give me a smoothie without the ingredients. He was rude and just plain nasty. I did not get a smoothie and left pissed at how people can be unaccommodating to people with allergies and just plain rude.

      Do not recommend.
