Mosswood Meltdown | July 6-7
 

Mosswood Meltdown returns July 6-7 to Mosswood Park! The festival a features a highly-anticipated set from The B-52s, Bay-Area mainstays Hunx and his Punx, the iconic Big Freedia, Redd Kross, Pure Hell playing their first west coast show in over 30 years, and more. On August 17 & 18, the iconic Emerald Cup cannabis festival will celebrate its highly anticipated 20th Anniversary in Oakland at the newly renovated Henry J. Kaiser Center for the Arts. Hiero Day | September 2
 

This festival began as a day of celebration for fans on 9/3/2011, a nod to 93' til Infinity, to listen to and appreciate Hieroglyphics music. Following suit, the collective responded to the fans with Hiero Day. Hiero Day plays an integral role in the Oakland music festival culture which exists in the city today. Voted the best hip hop music festival in the Bay Area, it is recognized for fostering a unifying atmosphere while maintaining a commitment to groundbreaking music and community development. Oakland Pride Parade & Festival | September 8
 

The Oakland Pride and Pridefest Oakland returns this year on September 8! This annual event creates a sponsorship of strength and respect while elevating our unified mission to celebrate and support the cultures and diversity of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer+ (LGBTQ+) community in Oakland and the surrounding Bay Area.
